We teach Ken Shin Kan Shorin Ryu Karate and are chartered by the Okinawa Shorin Ryu Matsumura Orthodox Karate and Kobudo Federation.
Classes are structured as they are in Okinawa. As a traditional school, we focus more on the development of the whole person than simply on the physical aspects of karate. Instruction is provided by a Certified Instructor with years of traditional martial arts experience.

Our style is useful in real-world situations. It began in Okinawa to equip the bodyguards to the Ryukyu emperor. Techniques from our style have been incorporated into the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP).
